Job Description
Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival. Manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their withes. Help provide seamless service between initial greeting and the server experience. You will take reservations and To Go orders on the telephone.

Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner

Seat guests while balancing the flow of service as to not overload one particular area

Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion

Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.

Introducing guests to their server

Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations

Help in clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest

Keep managers aware of any problems/complaints

Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

High School diploma or GED
-
Must have exceptional grooming habits

Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner

Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions for an extended period of time (5 hours)

Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English
