As a Bartender, you ensure consistent drink quality by preparing the highest quality beverages in a short period of time and in accordance with recipes and guidelines established by the Food and Beverage department. You will also take orders and serve food, maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area in a fast paced environment, while providing superior guest service. 

Specific responsibilities include:

• Greet guests in a timely and professional manner
• Verify guests that purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age
• Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items and be able to make recommendations
• Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner at the bar and lounge area
• Prepare and serve drinks consistent with the Standard drink recipes
• Learn the names and personalities of our regulars
• Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the POS system
• Wash and sanitize glassware
• Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks for bar patrons
• Clear and reset tables in bar area
• Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages
• Maintain cleanliness in all ares of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, floors, shelves and storage ares
• Receive and serve food orders to all guests seated at the bar
• Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to Manager
• Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
